Accessibility

Our commitment to making Ate Local usable for everyone.

Effective January 1, 2026

Effective Date

This Accessibility statement is effective as of January 1, 2026.

Our Commitment

Ate Local is committed to making the Service usable for as many people as possible, including people with visual, motor, auditory, cognitive, and other disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of designing and building the product, not a checklist to complete once.

Standards We Aim For

We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where reasonable. In practice, this means we work toward:

  • Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements.
  • Full keyboard navigation and visible focus states.
  • Semantic HTML and ARIA labeling for assistive technologies.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Responsive layouts that work across screen sizes and zoom levels.

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is reviewed as part of our regular design and engineering work. As new features ship, we evaluate keyboard flows, contrast, screen-reader support, and responsive behavior, and we iterate based on internal testing and feedback from the community.

Known Limitations

Some parts of the Service may not yet fully meet our accessibility goals — for example, older content, third-party embeds, or images uploaded by businesses. We do not claim full conformance with any specific standard, and we are actively working to improve areas that fall short.

Feedback

If you experience an accessibility barrier on Ate Local, we want to hear about it. Please share as much detail as you can — the page, the device or assistive technology you were using, and what you were trying to do — so we can reproduce and address it.
