DMCA Policy

This DMCA Policy is effective as of January 1, 2026. It describes how to report claims of copyright infringement involving content on Ate Local (the "Service"), operated by 8-L.

Ate Local responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws in other jurisdictions. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our designated contact below.

To be effective, your notice should include:

• Your physical or electronic signature (or that of an authorized agent).
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (such as a URL) for us to locate it.
• Your contact information — name, address, phone number, and email.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. A counter-notice should include your contact information, identification of the removed content and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, and your consent to jurisdiction in the appropriate court.

Ate Local reserves the right to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.

Submitting false or bad-faith DMCA notices or counter-notices may result in legal liability. Please consider carefully whether the use you are reporting actually infringes your copyright, or whether it may be permitted (for example, as fair use), before submitting a notice.
